Route: Gmap's pedometer site (ish)

I went out on Saturday with three others in Abersoch; after the weekend when most of the others went home, I went out with Andrew (who'd borrowed Robie's bike!) and we explored the area again. Now, you might know that he's rather better at cycling than I and so, looking at the map, decided on a route that would be reasonably flat (for me) ending in a stupidly steep, double arrowed hill, to challenge him!

The ride was really nice; further than the Saturday, and also slightly faster but then I was pretty much going at my pace (since Andrew could keep up no matter what I did!). We went out from Abersoch in the direction we'd returned on Saturday, heading around Hell's Mouth (which, frankly, didn't look terribly hellish for some reason) and up towards Plas yn Rhiw and... the big steep hill. Of course, I struggled up the first five metres, and Andrew powered to the top - nutter that he is! "That was the best bit. Not sure I'd've made it on a loaded touring bike mind." he says. Mad. I walked up... and we both walked down again as it was too steep to realistically ride!

The return back to Abersoch was straightforward, and overall it was a really nice ride - not too strenuous but enough for me, and the weather was good too. I really enjoyed it...
