It's November. It's cold. But it was a sunny Sunday morning, so I thought I'd cycle over to a car boot sale that had its leaflet shoved through my door a while ago. Apparently it'd relocated (where from?) to the Truck Stop on Trafford Wharf Road... well, it was worth a look.
The car boot sale wasn't much cop, to be honest - a couple of dozen boots, and nothing really worth having. Still, it was actually a really nice morning so I decided to cycle around the perimeter of the quays - at least, where I could get to on my bike - with my camera. To cut a long story short, this I did, popping into the Lowry shopping centre to see if they had anything worth getting as a Christmas present for anyone (they didn't). I then cycled back home, taking a slightly different route.
All in all, nothing terribly exciting, although I got some interesting pictures of the quays and discovered areas that I didn't know about before. Very nice, 8m without too much difficulty (apart from where the cycle paths in Trafford Park otherwise just stop!) and I actually quite enjoyed it. Back in time for lunch, too.
Incidentally, I noticed that this ride took me over my 400 miles this year mark. Considering how much I used to do (next to nothing) I think that's something of an achievement!
