Since I'm writing this a week or two later, I'll post this which I posted elsewhere after the weekend:
I've had a really good weekend, on reflection. Friday night was a gig that didn't go appallingly and wasn't /too/ late. Saturday, four techies (not all from the Message) went out for a walk/picnic around the Derwent Reservoir (and Ladybower/the dam etc), driving over the A57 snake pass. We had a pub meal in the evening, drove home, then I chatted 'til the early hours with a friend who was staying over.
Today I listened to the Doctor Who prom whilst he was at church; he decided to pop in on the aviation viewing thing of Manchester Airport, so we stuck my bike in teh boot and I went down there too; I then cycled back (10m in 50mins, 12mph average which I didn't think was too bad, particularly as a couple of miles of that was towpath!).
All in all, I got:

watching the planes/getting out of the house
tired
Pretty good (even if it was a little hot...!)
