A lovely week, weather wise, so I resolved to cycle to work - after all, having done 40 miles at the weekend I knew I could do it. Was rather pleased with the stats, too - on the way I took 28 mins, which means I got back in about 21 minutes! I could feel I was going faster; I was conscious of going about 19/20mph at one point, and up the A56 I was still maintaining 15-16mph for some of it. Consequently the average overall of 13.3 is pretty good for me! Am now convinced that it's uphill slightly on the way in the morning.
I'm not doing it frequently but I might try to do it regularly - perhaps once a week. I've got gigs to contend with - I don't fancy cycling home after a gig at 1am - but we'll see how we go (and whether the weather holds!).
Not a bad ride/day for the first day of cycling to work this year!
