Inspired by my housemate who was up early to go off to a Welsh mountain bike course, when I awoke I discovered that it wasn't actually raining, cold and miserable outside. Hence I decided to pop out on my bike - I went over to the Fallowfield Sainsbury's via the Fallowfield Loop Line. No particular reason - it just got me out of the house, so I cycled there, got a sandwich, and came back again.
I was pleasantly surprised to see the number of people on bikes along the cycle route - a couple of dozen, I'd estimate, that I encountered along the route. The weather was overcast but not too cold - just cycled in shorts and a fleece, rather than long trousers, which is good. A bit odd for January, but still.
Nothing much else to say really, other than the fact I spotted a sign to the station at the junction of the A56 and Edge Lane. It was particularly confusing as there isn't a station near there, and the nearest is in completely the opposite direction! I must report that...
